The invention provides a method and a device for monitoring humidity of a wind generating set. The method comprises the steps that operation data of the wind generating set in the current time period are obtained, the operation data comprise humidity data of at least one humidity sensor, and different humidity sensors in the at least one humidity sensor are used for detecting the humidity of different parts of the wind generating set; based on the humidity data of each humidity sensor of the wind generating set, whether each humidity sensor breaks down or not is determined; and determining whether the humidity of the part detected by the non-faulted humidity sensor is abnormal or not based on the humidity data of the non-faulted humidity sensor of the wind generating set.
