Abstract

A threshing separation system (11) for an agricultural harvester (1), comprising: a threshing cylinder (20) comprising a plurality of rasp bars (201); a concave plate (23) disposed adjacent to the threshing cylinder (20) such that rotation of the threshing cylinder (20) rubs the material on the concave plate (23); and a rotatable straw walker wheel (21) comprising a plurality of straw walker wheel blades (210), the straw walker wheel being arranged behind the threshing cylinder (20) and the recess (23) and configured to push the crop material received from the threshing cylinder (20) backwards. At least some of the walker blades (210) are at least partially covered by a damping material (220) to reduce damage to the pushed crop material during rotation of the walker (21).
