When the circuit breaker is actuated electrically, an electric motor 2 drives the main shaft 1 in rotation through a gear train 3 . Abstract

The invention discloses an actuator for breaker which is equipped with three switch positions comprising a closed position, an open position and an earth position. The actuator includes a rotating shaft connected to a mobile contact of the breaker and two manual switch units actuated by a crank. The switch units which are limited to move with the main shaft transmit the rotating to the shaft, so as to switch manually from one switch position to another switch position, one of which switches between the open and closed position, another switches between the open position and the earth position. The actuator comprises a fixation device for preventing the rotation of the crank when the breaker is switched from the closed position or other position to the open position.
