3 results about "Bellcrank" patented technology

A bellcrank is a type of crank that changes motion through an angle. The angle can be any angle from 0 to 360 degrees, but 90 degrees and 180 degrees are most common. The name comes from its first use, changing the vertical pull on a rope to a horizontal pull on the striker of a bell, used for calling staff in large houses or commercial establishments.

Pot drainage system

PendingUS20260144403A1Cooking-vessel lids/coversWater-bath cooking vesselsThermodynamicsThermal water
A container with an integrated drainage system. The container may include a pot used to boil pasta or other types of foods. The integrated drainage system may be configured with the pot to enable heated water to be drained from within the pot without having to pour the pasta and / or the heated water over the top rim of the pot (which typically releases dangerous amounts of steam). The drainage system may include a bell crank configured with a piston. The piston may include a lower sealing member that may correspond to an aperture in the bottom of the pot. Movement of the bell crank may cause the piston and its lower sealing member to open the aperture for drainage and / or to close the aperture for use of the pot.

Aircraft landing gear assembly

PendingUS20260145784A1All-wing aircraftWheel arrangementsAircraft landingMechanical engineering
A landing gear assembly for an aircraft with a forward brace to attach to an airframe of the aircraft; an aft brace to attach to the airframe and coupled the forward brace; a piston pivotally coupled to forward brace; a bellcrank linkage having a first end, a second end, and a pivot point therebetween such that a first portion of the linkage extends from the first end to the pivot point, and a second portion of the linkage extends from the pivot point to the second end, and the pivot point is pivotally coupled to the aft brace and to the piston; a primary strut pivotally coupled to forward brace and the aft brace; and a secondary strut pivotally coupled to linkage and a pivot point proximate the primary strut. The assembly has a deployed configuration when the piston is retracted, and a retracted configuration when the piston is extended.

High-lift system and method for an aircraft

PendingCN122166298AWithout power ampliicationAircraft controlFlight vehicleHigh lift
High lift systems for aircraft and associated methods are provided. A high lift system includes a movable high lift device, an inboard track for guiding an inboard portion of the high lift device, and an outboard track for guiding an outboard portion of the high lift device. An actuator drives the high lift device between a retracted position and a deployed position. The actuator is disposed inboard of the inboard track. An inboard bell crank connects the actuator to the inboard portion of the high lift device. An outboard bell crank connects the actuator to the outboard portion of the high lift device. A connecting link connects the inboard bell crank to the outboard bell crank such that the outboard bell crank driveably connects the actuator to the outboard portion of the high lift device via the connecting link and the inboard bell crank.
