A vacuum insulated switchgear comprising a vacuum container accommodating at least a pair of movable contacts and a pair of fixed contacts, wherein the movable contacts are capable of taking three positions, the switchgear being a double-break three-position type switch having breaking and disconnecting functions.

A vacuum insulated switchgear comprising a case having a switch section, a bus-bar section and a cable section, each being partitioned by an earthed metal plate, a vacuum double break three point switch disposed in the switch section and having breaking and disconnecting function, an operator, a bus-bar disposed in the bus-bar section of the case, and a cable connection terminal connected to a cable in the cable section.

An electric device, in particular for medium or high voltage electric substations, able to perform the functions of circuit-breaking, isolating and earthing is described. The device comprises: a casing; at least one circuit-breaker; at least one line isolator having a fixed isolator contact; a line isolator actuating shaft for actuating the at least one line isolator; at least one earthing isolator; a circuit-breaker actuating shaft for actuating at least one circuit-breaker; and a lever connected to a conductor rod co-operating with movable circuit-breaker contacts, said conductor rod further engaging with said fixed isolator contact in a closing position, wherein: the device further comprises a resilient member co-operating with said conductor rod in order to transfer correct pressing loads to said movable contacts. According to the invention, said circuit-breaker actuating shaft and said line isolator actuating shaft are coaxial. Profitably, the casing is filled with nitrogen or sulphur hexafluoride.

Operating shaft 4 allows disconnecting switch-side and earthing switch-side moving contacts 7a and 7b to linearly reciprocate with the rotation of operating shaft 4. Operating shaft 4 has two-hole lever 5 allow an arc motion. A vacuum circuit interrupter includes a line conductor, a vacuum interrupter, a load conductor, a ground conductor and an operating mechanism. The vacuum interrupter includes a fixed conductor and a vacuum envelope containing a fixed contact and a movable contact movable between a closed circuit position in electrical connection with the fixed contact and an open circuit position spaced apart from the fixed contact. The fixed conductor is outside of the vacuum envelope and is electrically connected to the fixed contact. The load conductor is electrically connected to the movable contact. The operating mechanism is structured to: open and close the fixed and movable contacts, and move the vacuum interrupter and the fixed conductor thereof between a first position wherein the fixed conductor is electrically connected to the line conductor, and a second position wherein the fixed conductor is electrically connected to the ground conductor.

A gas-insulated switchgear includes a tank filled with an electrically insulating gas, first and second conductors disposed within the tank, a disconnector for disconnecting the first conductor and the second conductor from each other, and a grounding switch for grounding the first conductor when the disconnector is in an open position. The disconnector includes a first and second fixed electrode disposed on the first and second conductors, respectively, a bridging movable electrode that is always maintained in contact with the first electrode and that is slidably movable for contacting with and separating from the second fixed electrode to connect and disconnect the first and second fixed electrodes, and an operating mechanism for opening and closing operation of the movable electrode. The grounding switch includes the bridging movable electrode which is in contact with the first contact, and a third fixed grounding electrode disposed to the tank capable of contacting with the movable electrode when the movable electrode is separated from the second electrode. The operating mechanism is provided with an electrically insulating operating rod extending through the first fixed electrode in the direction of movement of the movable electrode.

A switching device for electric power distribution, includes a breaker that is electrically connectable to a conductor, and an electrically conductive housing to which the breaker is mounted. The device provides a current path between the breaker and the conductor. The housing houses at least one guiding member for operating the breaker and a first part of the current path, the first part being electrically connected to the breaker. The device also includes a switch for electrically connecting the breaker to the conductor, the switch having a switch element movable to a first position where the switch element is connected to the first part and the conductor, movable to a second position where the switch element is disconnected from the conductor and connected to the first part and a grounded element, and movable to a third position where the switch element is disconnected from the conductor and the grounded element.

The present invention provides a switch operating device capable of easily achieving three-point control even in the case where the disconnector and grounding switch have different operating angle or operating amount. The switch operating device has: an electric motor (5) capable of being rotated in both positive and negative directions; a drive shaft (6) rotated by the electric motor (5); a drive-side intermittent gear (8) rotated by the drive shaft (6); a driven-side intermittent gear (10) rotated by the drive-side intermittent gear (8); a main shaft (11) that is fixed to the driven-side intermittent gear (10) to drive the contacts of the switch; a disconnector lock cam (19a) and a grounding switch lock cam (19b) fixed to the main shaft (11) to be rotated; and a disconnector lock pin (52a) and a grounding switch lock pin (52b) that are capable of being engaged with and released from the disconnector lock cam (19a) and the grounding switch lock cam (19b) and capable of inhibiting predetermined range of rotation of the main shaft (11) when being engaged.

The invention discloses a breaker actuator with three switch positions which is equipped with two crank inlet, capable of switching the breaker manually from the closed position to the open position, or from the open position to the earth position by one crank. A gas-insulated switchgear device comprising a first casing housing: at least a first terminal for input/output connection; a disconnector unit comprising at least a first fixed contact operatively coupled to said first terminal and a corresponding first movable contact which can be electrically connected/disconnected with said first fixed contact, during operation of the disconnector unit; a circuit breaker unit electrically connected to said disconnector unit and comprising at least a couple of interruption contacts which can be actuated, during operation of said circuit breaker unit, between a circuit breaker closed position where they are electrically coupled and a circuit breaker open position where they are electrically separated; actuating means for operating said disconnector unit and said circuit breaker unit; a second casing operatively coupled with said actuating means, which houses said interruption contacts and on the outer surface of which at least said first movable contact is mounted; characterized in that said second casing is pivotally mounted inside said first casing so as to rotate said first movable contact during operation of said disconnector unit, said couple of interruption contacts being operatively coupled to said actuating means so as to be kept electrically coupled in said circuit breaker closed position and substantially still relative to each other during rotation of said second casing.

A switching installation (5) having a circuit breaker (12), which is connected to a cable connection (33), and optionally a disconnector (14) for making or breaking a conductive connection between the cable connection (33) and a rail system (15), and an electrically insulating barrier (10). The electrically insulating barrier (10) surrounds at least the parts which are under electric voltage in operation from the circuit breaker (12) to the rail system (15), including a branch (18) leading to a rail (15) of the rail system, separately for each phase of the switching installation (5). Furthermore, inside the electrically insulating barrier (10) the switching installation may be provided with field-control means and/or voltage-sealing means (22, 25, 37).

A switchgear includes an earthing and disconnecting switch which linearly moves and is switchable to a disconnecting and an earthing positions, a vacuum valve which performs closing and breaking of a current in a vacuum container producing vacuum inside, and a solid insulator with which the earthing and disconnecting switch and the vacuum valve are covered, therein the earthing and disconnecting switch and the vacuum valve are electrically connected, and closing and breaking of a current is performed in the vacuum valve.

A common fixed load contact is located angularly between, and spaced α degrees from, both the fixed line and ground contacts so that the shaft is rotated only α degrees between a first, closed position, in which the movable conductors connect the fixed load contact for each phase to the corresponding fixed line contact, and a second, grounded position, where the fixed load contact of each phase is connected by the movable conductor to the corresponding fixed ground contact.
