Embodiment 1

[0166] Example of Silicone Putty Cartridged from a Pressurized Soft Shell

[0167] The equipment used by figure 1 indicated and stated above. More precisely, this example uses a press with vessels for the discharge of viscous products contained in vessels with diameters up to 1240 mm, said vessels being subjected to operating pressure.

[0168] The press has a steel structure that houses the jacks in their vertical position. The 20 cm diameter jack is hydraulic and operates at a hydraulic pressure of 0 to 250 bar delivered by the hydraulic unit. The pressure piston driven by the jack has a diameter of 1220mm±3mm. The control station is able to control the raising and lowering of the jack.

[0169] The vessel has an internal diameter of 1235mm±10mm and a depth of 1000mm, is made of stainless steel and can withstand pressures in excess of 7 bar.

[0170] The product discharge port is located on the bottom side of the vessel.

Embodiment 3

[0196] Example of Silicone Putty Cartridged from a Pressurized Soft Shell

[0197] The equipment used by figure 1 indicated and stated above. More precisely, this embodiment uses a vessel press with strong vessels, capable of withstanding working pressure, with a diameter of 1240mm.

[0198] The press has a steel structure that houses the jacks in their vertical position.

[0199] The inner diameter of the vessel is 1235mm ± 10mm, the depth is 1000mm, it is made of stainless steel and can withstand a pressure of more than 10 bar.

[0200] The product discharge port is located on the bottom side of the vessel.

[0201] A pressure-resistant hose connects the outlet of the vessel to the doser of the cartridge ...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method and a kit for draining a flexible container housing a viscous product which is selected from the group of products having a viscosity of between 10 Pa.s and 200 000 Pa.s, e.g. silicon gums or oils. The inventive draining method essentially consists in: using a flexible container (3); optionally, moving the container (3) to be drained from the storage site thereofto a drainage site; ensuring that the viscous product (2) can flow from the container (3) through at least one outlet (9) which is preferably disposed in the lower part of same; exerting a pressure on at least one defined area of the flexible container (3) using pressurising means which preferably consist of at least one pressure member (5) and / or a pressure fluid, such as to (i) maintain the container (3) in the inflated or partially-inflated state and (ii) hasten the flow; and, finally, removing the pressure once the container has been drained. The drainage kit consists of the viscous product (silicon mastic), a big-bag-type flexible container (3) and a draining device comprising at least one pressure member [piston (5) or set of rollers] and / or a pressure fluid.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a method for the continuous or discontinuous discharge of viscous products contained in flexible containers, especially of the bag type, wherein the emptying takes place through an opening located in the lower part of the flexible container. [0002] The invention also relates to an emptying kit comprising in particular a device for emptying viscous products contained in flexible containers. [0003] The viscous products involved in the present invention especially refer to those which are heated at 25°C and 0.01s by known methods. -1 Products having a viscosity measured under a shear gradient of at least 10 Pa.s, and preferably from 10 to 200,000 Pa.s, i.e. silicone oils; silica gels; Organosiloxane compositions (optionally in the form of aqueous emulsions); organic polymers and compositions containing reactive silicone groups (known as MS polymers) injected into solvents or aqueous media, comprising acrylic polymers and can b...
