Abstract

A hermetic compressor includes: a hermetic case; a frame configured to be received in the hermetic case, a drive unit and a compression unit arranged at lower and upper sides of the frame, respectively; a rotating shaft mounted to the frame and configured to transmit a rotational force of the drive unit to the compression unit and having an upper eccentric portion connected to the upper compression unit; and a connecting rod configured to be coupled to the eccentric portion.
