Abstract

The system is composed of four parts: computer workstation system for editing script, interactive program operation server, interactive program play back terminal, and digital TV program source. Interactive function of system is realized through interactive script, which tells system when and in what mode to interact with audiences of users. Interactive script is existed outside the program source. Interactive function is superposed to program at terminal device when program is played back. Collocation between program and interactive script is chosen based on service logic to aim at dedicated TV users based on making content in interaction mode through Internet, and operation system. Specific interactive program is played back at specific time point of video program in order to avoid asynchronous caused by network time delay. Features are: possessing both interactivity of Internet and easy to use of TV, real time participation, and all-sided participation.
