Generally, the inventive electro-hydraulic valve positioner can be used as part of a motor valve assembly, which includes a motor valve and the electro-hydraulic valve positioner; hence, the invention also is directed to an inventive motor valve assembly and a process for using the same. The electro-hydraulic valve positioner is sometimes referred to as an actuator. In general terms, actuators are a mechanism for controlling or moving another mechanism.
