[0019]Referring now to the drawings and first to FIG. 1, a scoped firearm 10 is partially shown which has a receiver 12 having a telescope mount 14 defining a mounting rail 16 of the Picatinny or Weaver type to which a telescope 18 is secured to the firearm by telescope mounting rings 20 and 22 of the telescope mount in typical fashion.
