The invention relates to an open channel
water channel bed-load transport rate ceaseless measuring
system and belongs to the technical field of hydraulic measurement. The
system comprises a measuring box, a weighing instrument, a flow guiding plate, a sand collecting basket, a sand
discharge basket, a traction mechanism, a hoisting mechanism and a hoisting
rope. The measuring box is installed below a bottom plate on the upstream of the outlet cross section of a
water channel. The weighing instrument is installed above the measuring box. The bottom of the weighing instrument is higher than the horizontal plane of the
water channel. The flow guiding plate horizontally covers the top end of the measuring box and is flushed to the upper surface of the bottom plate of the water channel. The sand collecting basket is hung on the portion, below the flow guiding plate, in the measuring box through the hoisting
rope. One end of the hoisting
rope is connected with the top end of the sand collecting basket, and the other end of the hosting rope is connected with a weighing hook at the bottom of the weighing instrument. The sand
discharge basket is flatly placed on the portion, under the sand collecting basket, in the measuring box. The traction mechanism is arranged below and beside the sand
discharge basket. The hoisting mechanism is located on the side face of the sand collecting basket, installed above the top of the measuring box and flexibly connected with the sand discharge basket. The
system can continuously and ceaselessly measure the
bed-load transport rate of any particle size under the condition that an experiment is not disturbed.
