This invention relates to a debris removal
system and method based on multimodal optical detection using
air separation. The
system includes a feed duct, a primary
visual inspection and removal unit, a secondary
laser inspection and removal unit arranged sequentially along the material conveying direction of the feed duct, a debris collection unit connected to the feed duct, and a
noise reduction and maintenance unit that encloses
noise-generating components. This invention forms a redundant and complementary detection
system through dual-
modal optical detection using both vision and
laser. Primary
visual inspection quickly removes debris with obvious optical characteristics, while secondary
laser inspection identifies foreign objects of the same color in blind spots of
visual inspection based on the physical properties of the material surface. This significantly improves the overall debris detection and removal rate, ensuring the high purity of the finished product.
