Afterwards, powdering with the hot-melt adhesive powder, removing excess powder not adhering to the embossing of the paste, and also including a drying and sintering process. The transfer of the slurry from the embossing roll to the coated substrate is accomplished by contact with a backing roll. In the second method, in the process of filling the holes of the screen stencil, the bottom smooth surface on the outside of the stencil is utilized, and the slurry is only filled from the outside without the slurry being pressed through the inside of the screen stencil. An internal doctor blade is provided, without slurry holes, and the slurry is transferred to the coated substrate with the assistance of a rubberized backing roll located below the screen stencil. The resulting double coat of protective layer and hot melt adhesive layer virtually completely covers the surface of the substrate, requiring very few coats while being free from backside seizure and having an even weight distribution.
