[0214] Water is added to a reverse osmosis unit, and impurities are removed through a semipermeable membrane to obtain deionized water. Anhydrous citric acid of 99% purity was mixed with this water to obtain 200 gallons of a 20% (wt / vol) solution (796 g of citric acid per gallon of water). The 200 gallons of 20% citric acid were added to an ion chamber containing positive and negative electrodes, each composed of 200 troy ounces of 999 pure silver. The positive and negative electrodes are separated by at least 2.0 mm, and the citric acid solution is passed between the two electrodes. An ion generation controller (IGC) power supply comprising positive and negative conductors is connected to the positive and negative electrodes.
