Embodiment Construction

[0029] The invention utilizes the method of assembling and fixing streamlined guide covers at regular intervals on the submarine pipeline to suppress the vortex-induced vibration of the submarine pipeline. Firstly, the wind deflector used in the present invention will be further described in detail with reference to the accompanying drawings and embodiments.

[0030] A three-dimensional view of a wind deflector after being assembled and fixed on the pipeline is shown in Figure 1. The wind deflector of the present invention is a central protrusion formed by splicing four tongue-shaped deflectors 7 with the same size and curvature. A symmetrical shell with two top ends 5 connected. After installation, the inner wall of the raised part in the middle is tangent to the pipe 1 with the bottom edge 4 of the butt-connected deflector 7 as the tangent, and is welded on the pipe 1 . The positions where the tops 5 of the four deflectors 7 are connected are also welded together. Each def...

Abstract

The invention relates to a method for inhibiting the vortex-excited oscillation of a submarine pipeline. The method comprises the following steps: (1) fabricating tongue-like flow-guiding sheets of different sizes and curvatures according to the inner and outer diameters of the submarine pipeline to be protected, allowing each sheet to be tapered from the bottom to the top, forming a square wave-shaped notch at the bottom edge of each sheet, fixing a Z-shaped trip wire on the outer wall of each sheet, and allowing the square wave-shaped notches of the sheets in pair to be engaged with each other; (2) assembling and fixing flow-guide shields on the submarine pipeline at a distance 1.5-2.5 times of the outer diameter of the submarine pipeline, wherein each flow-guide shield is formed by two flow-guide sheets by assembly and welding, forming two symmetric shell bodies with raised middle part and two interconnected top ends, so that the submarine pipeline is enclosed therein. The inventive method can efficiently control the vortex-excited oscillation and simultaneously control the construction complexity and cost in an acceptable range, and realizes the optimization of construction complexity, construction cost and inhibitory effect on vortex-excited oscillation.

Description

Technical field [0001] The invention belongs to the technical field of laying submarine pipeline facilities, and in particular relates to a method capable of effectively suppressing vortex-induced vibration of submarine pipelines. Background technique [0002] Submarine pipelines are laid on the rugged seabed. Due to the inhomogeneity of the seabed contour, seabed undercurrents, tides and other factors, in some areas along the pipeline laying path, the pipeline is exposed to form a suspended section. Under the long-term action of environmental loads, the suspended section is easily damaged and fails. Among various failure modes, vortex-induced vibration has the highest probability of occurrence and is the most harmful. Vortex-induced vibration refers to the periodic shedding of the vortex that causes the lateral and flow alternating external forces acting on the object, causing the object to vibrate. The academic community agrees that the lateral vibration is much larger t...
