The streamline tunnel type turbocharger comprises a streamline tunnel type turbine, a streamline tunnel type gas compressor wheel, a turbine shell, a gas compressor shell, a middle shell and a rotating shaft. The streamline tunnel type turbine and the streamline tunnel type gas compressor wheel are installed at the two ends of the rotating shaft correspondingly, and a supercharger rotor is formed. An oil thrust bearing assembly is arranged at the rear side of the streamline tunnel type gascompressor wheel. The streamline tunnel type turbocharger is higher in strength, and damage is not likely to happen; due to higher structural strength, the material selection range is widened, the cost is better reduced, and the weight is controlled; and if the turbine and the gas compressor wheel which are completely the same in structure are used, especially when a ceramic composite material isused, the design and manufacturing cost can be greatly reduced. The streamline tunnel type turbocharger has the beneficial effects that the characteristics of a closed rotating machine are fully utilized, the outer contour surfaces of the turbine and the gas compressor wheel serve as working surfaces of radial supporting bearings, the rotor has a high critical rotating speed, and the possibilityof resonance generation is greatly reduced.
