Embodiment Construction

[0031] According to an embodiment of the present invention there is provided an olfactory patch comprising a well formed by a reservoir layer sandwiched between an upper barrier layer and a lower permeable layer. The permeable layer forms a passage for the flow of odor from the odor fluid contained in the well for use.

[0032] Preferably, the channels are radial. Optionally, the channel extends longitudinally or transversely from one side of the release patch to the other.

[0033] Typically, channels have preferential ramps to facilitate radial flow or movement therealong. Typically, odorant fluid flow diffuses from areas of high concentration to areas of low concentration on the periphery of the permeate layer. The odorant fluid is released outwards in the form of radiation or convection.

[0034]Typically, channels are formed between the storage layer and the surface to which the permeable layer is secured. Typically, the permeable layer is secured by an adhesive. Typ...

Abstract

The invention discloses an olfactory patch comprises a well (6) formed by a reservoir layer (2).The well (6) is sandwiched between a barrier layer (3) and a permeable layer (4). The permeable layer (4) defines a pathway for olfactory fluid flow from the well (6) (A, figure 1). The flow of the olfactory may be commenced by an initiator mechanism, the same or another mechanism may control or terminate the flow of olfactory. The olfactory patch may utilize any olfactory fluid or combination of fluids within the same patch. The patch may utilize olfactory fluid which provides aromas or masks odors or has de-deodorizing capability or the olfactory fluid contains therapeutic agents which are released from the patch by aromatization or by direct skin absorption or by inhalation.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to olfactory patches for distributing odours, in particular odours, which may have various uses such as providing fragrance, fragrance, or having anti-odor functions or medical value. Background technique [0002] It is understandable that the human body is born with sweating, which also produces unpleasant body odour. Traditionally, these body odors are masked with deodorants and body sprays such as perfume or equipped with antiperspirants to reduce the sweat that causes body odor. Directly applying a quantitative amount of fragrance to the skin to achieve the desired effect can only be sustained in the short term to a certain extent and is difficult to last for a long time. Also, it should be noted that the human body sweats throughout the day, and some people sweat more than others. Under such circumstances, it is difficult to provide deodorants and fragrances that are suitable for everyone and have a prolonged period...
