The method takes a mixture of asparagic acid, and maleic acid ammonium salt or fumaric acid ammonium salt, or other amino acids as a raw material, and an acidic phosphoric acid compound as a catalyst. The raw material and the catalyst are put into a light wave microwave reactor to synthesize the polysuccinimide or the polysuccinimide copolymer through solid phase polymerization in a normal pressure or vacuum status. The method solves the problems of low reaction speed, low raw material yield and unstable performance of the product. The method has the advantages of simple process, high reaction speed, high yield, energy conservation, low pollution and high quality.
