Embodiment Construction

[0041] FIG. 2 shows a schematic diagram of a device for generating biogas according to the invention. In the preferred embodiment, the biogas reactor 10 comprises an outer vessel 12 which is preferably cylindrical in the central part and conical towards the ends in the upper part 14 and the lower part 16 respectively. Inside the outer container 12 is housed an inner reservoir 18 which is cup-shaped and is arranged at a substantially constant distance from the outer container 12 so as to form a surrounding inner reservoir 18 between the outer container 12 and the inner reservoir 18 The filling chamber 20. The outer container 12 as well as the inner reservoir 18 are preferably made of steel, however, embodiments made of other materials such as plastic or the like may also be implemented. In this embodiment, the upper edge of the inner reservoir 18 serving as the overflow lip 22 is inserted into the upper portion 14 tapered towards the upper side to a depth such that the cross-s...

Abstract

The invention relates to a device for generating biogas from organic materials having a biogas reactor (10) which has a charging chamber (20) for being charged with the organic materials and a backflow channel (36) for at least partial discharge of the organic materials from the biogas reactor (10). According to the invention it is provided that the biogas reactor (10) in addition has at least one intermediate chamber (30), the charging chambers (20) which form at least one intermediate chamber (30) and the backflow channel (36) form in this sequence sections of a flow path through which flowcan pass in only one direction for the organic materials, two sequentially following sections respectively forming a raising flow path in one case and a falling flow path in the other. In addition, the invention relates to a process for biogas generation.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a device for generating biogas (biogas) from organic material, said device comprising a biogas reactor comprising a filling chamber to be filled with organic material and for reacting at least partially from biogas return channel for the discharge of organic material from the device. [0002] The invention also relates to a method for generating biogas. Background technique [0003] In the generation of biogas, anaerobic bacteria are used to decompose and convert organic material that is no longer associated with living organisms into a gas. Anaerobic bacteria are the last link in the natural cycle and are ubiquitous in nature, for example in the stomachs of ruminants or in the black mud of lakes and swamps. In anaerobic fermentation, first, facultative methylotrophs will differentiate from obligate methylotrophs. Organic materials used as raw materials in anaerobic fermentation include, for example, organic materials or res...
