Abstract

The method comprises the following steps: after fresh laver is washed cleanly, the laver is cut into small sections not more than 12cm and mixed with water so as to form suspension; the suspension is sent into a stock discharge box through a pipe; the stock discharge box evenly spreads the suspension onto a formed net and water is filtered out; after the vacuum dehydrating is carried out by a suction chamber, the laver enters the cracks of a top net and the formed net; then after multi-level centrifugal dehydrating, the laver is stripped off the top net and the formed net successively by airflow and is thrown and piled on a dry net moving at a low speed; the piling thickness is not more than 100mm; and hot air which is blast upwardly from below the dry net is used to further dehydrate the laver and reduce the falling speed of the laver onto the dry net. The speed ratio of the forming net to the dry net is between 50 and 100. The laver is sent to a next drying procedure by the dry net.
