Abstract

The invention discloses a method for establishing a broadcast or multicast bearer, an apparatus and a system thereof, and belongs to the communication technical field. The method comprises the following steps: judging whether preset conditions of establishing the broadcast or multicast bearer are satisfied when multi-party communication session is established or during the multi-party communication session; and if the conditions are satisfied, the broadcast or multicast bearer is established with a user terminal with a broadcast or multicast support function. The apparatus comprises a judgment module and an establishment module. The system comprises a participation function device and a control function device. As the broadcast or multicast is established after the conditions of establishing the broadcast or multicast bearer are judged to be satisfied, a point-to-multi-point broadcast or multicast technology is introduced to a multi-party communication system, which improves the multi-party communication efficiency and greatly saves the bandwidth capacity, and reduces the burden of a server system and avoids the bottleneck particularly when the number of users significantly increases.
