Abstract

A straddle-type three-wheeled vehicle has a frame (42) having an upper frame member (100), a lower frame member (102), a forward cross member (104) interconnecting a forward portion of the upper frame member (100) with a forward portion of the lower frame member (102), and a rearward cross member (106) interconnecting a rearward portion of the upper frame member (100) with a rearward portion of the lower frame member (102). A strut (108) extends diagonally from the forward cross member (104) to the lower frame member (102). The vehicle has an engine mounted to the frame (42). An air box of the vehicle has at least a portion thereof disposed above at least a portion of the engine. A fuel tank of the vehicle is disposed rearwardly of the air box.
