The non-excitation tapping switch is characterized in that one upper ring-shaped moving contact and one lower ring-shaped moving contact are configured on each sliding pin correspondingly; and rollers are arranged at tips of the radial sliding pins to be configured with the inner bores of the upper and the lower two ring-shaped moving contacts. The invention heightens the contact surfaces of the moving and the fixed contacts, improves the contact performance of the contacts, shortens the axial length of the switch or installs more moving contact rings along the identical axial length, and provides the switch with greater current-carrying capacity.
