The preparation process of the compound decoloring and deodorizing coagulant is as blow: the concentration of waste sulphuric acid which is generated by adopting the sulfuric acid process to produce titanium pigment byproduct is adjusted to 25-30 percent and then put into a reaction pond, and then the magnesia is added into the reaction pond according to the mixing ratio; heat is send out through the reaction, and the reaction time is 2 h; after filtration, the liquid is extracted by an acid-resisting pump to a condensing jar, the liquid is heated to 280 DEG C and then undergoes condensation which lasts 2 h; then the liquid is condensed to a crystallizing pond, the crystallization time is 4 h, and the magnesium sulfate is obtained after dehydration and drying; and the compound decoloring and deodorizing coagulant is obtained by mixing dried magnesium sulfate with the active calvital according to the mixing ratio.
