The invention relates to a crosswalk traffic-light control method, which comprises the following steps that: (1) a control button is manually pressed; (2) a control system acquires traffic-state data of intersections from a traffic-light control system for the road intersections at two ends, analyzes the data, and determines a time segment with minimum vehicle flow of a road section within a set time range; and (3) in the time segment with the minimum vehicle flow within the set time range, a pedestrian-direction green light is controlled to be on, while a vehicle-direction red light is controlled to be on. The method can allow the pedestrians to pass under the circumstance that vehicles on the road is small in flow, thereby reducing the influence on the vehicles and overall road traffic conditions as much as possible while ensuring the passing of the pedestrians.
