Abstract

The test equipment comprises a PXI instrument, an adaptor and an industrial control computer which are connected with other. The test equipment and the method utilize the industrial control computer for operating an automatic test program set, controlling an audio signal source in the PXI instrument and selecting a call signal source for generating various signals which are needed by test and outputted to a tested equipment through a switch matrix card, a digital input-output card and the adaptor; simultaneously the output of the tested equipment is outputted to a data collecting card in the PXI instrument through the adaptor so as to collect data which is then transmitted to the industrial control computer; and a test result is judged through data analysis and treatment of the automatic test program set, thus not only avoiding the trouble of borrowing an audio control panel to match the test and a special call signal source, but also reducing test time and greatly reducing error caused by anthropogenic factor through automatic test; as a result, the test equipment and the method undoubtedly become new test trends of the boeing series aircraft audio management unit.
