The brake air valve 8 opens the mechanical brake 9 during lifting. During the descent, the mechanical brake 9 and the landing brake valve 4 are opened. The lifting unit is coupled via a transmission 6 and a mechanical brake to the hydraulic motor 5 on the load side 12 where the lowering brake valve 4 is provided. Abstract

The device has a hydraulic motor (5), a countersunk brake valve (4) and a mechanical brake (9) coupled to a mechanical gear (6) and a lift winch (7). A pressure sensor (13) measures hydraulic pressure caused on a load side of the motor in an open hydraulic circuit and / or a side of a lifting line (3) directly before closing the brake. A control unit stores the measured pressure. The unit allows a pump of a mobile crane to pass hydraulic oil into an oil volume (12) between the motor and the valve such that pressure loss caused in the volume is compensated during a closing period of the brake. An independent claim is also included for a method for electro-hydraulic leak compensation with a mobile crane-countersunk brake system in an open hydraulic circuit.
