Embodiment 1

[0038] Figure 5Shown is a schematic diagram of the terminal portion of Example 1 of the liquid crystal display device of the present invention. The data line terminal part is provided with a repair line 305 , each of the data line terminal 301 and the lead-out crimping terminal 306 of the repair line crosses the repair line 305 , and the repair line 305 is located outside the area surrounded by the sealant 101 . The repair line 305 is made of a metal layer different from the data line terminal 301 and the repair line lead-out crimp terminal 306, and its length covers all the data line terminals 301 and all repair line lead-out crimp terminals 306 that may need to be repaired. There is also an insulating layer between the wire 305 and the data wire terminal 301 and the repair wire lead-out crimping terminal 306 .

[0039] Figure 6 Shown is the situation of the terminal part of the data line when the data line is broken, and the broken line 307 is as shown in the figure. F...

Embodiment 2

[0043] Figure 12 Shown is a schematic diagram of the terminal portion of Example 2 of the liquid crystal display device of the present invention.

[0044] The basic idea is similar to that of Embodiment 1, the difference is that a repair line is provided on the left and right sides of the data line terminal, which are repair line 305 and repair line 305' respectively, and each data line terminal 301 and the repair line lead out The crimping terminals 306 all cross a repair line, that is, either cross the repair line 305 or the repair line 305 ′. Such a structure can realize the repair of two broken wires at the same time, and the specific repair method is the same as that in Embodiment 1, and will not be repeated here.

Abstract

The invention discloses a liquid crystal display and a repairing method thereof. The liquid crystal display comprises a colorful film substrate and an array substrate. A circle of frame sealing glue is enclosed between the two substrates. The array substrate is provided with a plurality of data wires, repairing wire bus, data wire terminals and repairing wire lead-out compression terminals. At least one repairing wire is arranged outside an area surrounded by the frame sealing glue, and each data wire terminal and each repairing wire lead-out compression terminal are crossed with the repairing wire. The invention can improve the repairing efficiency, prevent the mutual short circuit of the data wires and a common electrode and isolate and repair a short-circuited part.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a liquid crystal display device, in particular to a liquid crystal display device and a repair method which can improve repair efficiency, prevent data lines and common electrodes from being short-circuited, and isolate the short-circuited part for repair again. Background technique [0002] While traditional cathode ray tube (CRT) monitors rely on the cathode ray tube to emit electrons and strike phosphors on the screen to display images, liquid crystal displays work on a completely different principle. Generally, a liquid crystal display (LCD) device includes a color filter substrate with a color filter and an array substrate, located between an upper polarizer and a lower polarizer, spaced apart from each other and facing each other. There is a circle of sealing glue, and the liquid crystal is sealed and sandwiched between the two substrates by the sealing glue. The array substrate has a plurality of data lines, a plurality...
