Problems solved by technology

[0006] The main disadvantage of hold-imparting polymers in hairsprays is the lack of care properties: the hair is difficult to comb and feels dull, rough and lacking in conditioning
[0010] In addition, for foam fixatives, the other disadvantage of many hold-imparting polymers comes into play: it imparts insufficient, non-cosmetic foam characteristics to the foam

Abstract

A preparation for treating keratin fibers, especially to a cosmetic hair fixative which contains a) at least one cationic amphoteric polymer, constituted of the monomers vinylpyrrolidone, tert. butyl acrylate, methacrylic acid, dimethylaminopropyl methacrylamide and methacryloylethyldimethylethyl ammonium ethyl sulfate, wherein the portion of the methacrylic acid being lower than the portion of the dimethylaminopropyl methacrylamide and the polymer being neutralized with an appropriate acid, b) at least one non-ionic polymer and c) at least one silicon oil.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to a preparation for the treatment of keratin fibres, in particular a cosmetic hair fixative, comprising: a) at least one cationic, amphoteric polymer consisting of the following monomers: vinylpyrrolidone, acrylic acid tert-butyl ester, methacrylic acid, dimethylaminopropylmethacrylamide, and methacryloyloxyethyl dimethylethylammonium ethylsulfate, with a smaller proportion of methacrylic acid than dimethylaminopropylmethyl and the polymer has been neutralized with a suitable acid, b) at least one nonionic polymer, and c) at least one silicone oil. Background technique [0002] Products known as styling agents are used for temporarily changing and stabilizing hairstyles. These include hair sprays, foam fixers, fixers in liquid form, gels, pomades, and more. [0003] Formulations are diverse and the components must be compatible in ethanol, aqueous ethanol or aqueous media. [0004] Such preparations for styling hair ge...
