Abstract

The invention relates to a drum type washing machine. The invention provides a drum type washing machine with vibration reduced during resonance in the dehydration starting. The drum type washing machine (A) comprises a water tank (3) which supported by a spring (16) and an absorber (7) inside the frame (1), a washing tank (4) rotatably disposed in the water tank (3) for receiving clothes (W), anda motor (5) for driving the washing tank (4) to rotate. A fluid balancer (10) is loaded on the washing tank (4). When the rotation speed is lower than the resonance rotation speed, position of the fluid balancer on the side of the fluid is detected, timing is estimated and the speed is brought up so that the fluid balancer passes through the resonance. When passing through the resonance, positionof the fluid balancer on the side of fluid is on the opposite side of the unbalanced position of the clothes (W), therefore the unbalance of the entire rotation body can be reduced, and vibration canbe reduced.
