The diesel lubrication modifier contains unsaturated fatty acid and unsaturated fatty acid ester, wherein the unsaturated fatty acid is no less than 30 percent by weight and is shown as a formula (1), the unsaturated fatty acid ester is shown as a formula (2), and as a preferable scheme of the invention, R1 and R2 respectively contain 1-3 double-bonds. As for the application of the unsaturated fatty acid as the diesel lubrication modifier, the unsaturated fatty acid is shown as the formula (1).
