Abstract

The invention relates to a power supply management method and a power supply device of a portable computer and a computer system, in particular to a power supply management method for a portable computer system. The portable computer system comprises multiple power storage devices which are used for storing a power supply and outputting discharge current to the portable computer system. The powersupply management method comprises the following steps of: receiving the power supply, and generating corresponding charge current so as to charge one power storage device of the multiple power storage devices; and comparing the discharge current and the charge current so as to regulate the power consumption of the portable computer system. The invention can improve the power supplying mode of a multi-battery system so that a user can normally use the functions of the portable computer system during charge and properly regulate the power consumption of the portable computer system so that thespeed of the charge and discharge is same or the speed of the discharge is reduced, thereby prolonging the service time.
