Abstract

The invention discloses a method for acquiring accurate intermediate frequency for a global positioning system (GPS), which is used in a GPS receiver. The method comprises the following steps of: firstly, searching a satellite by utilizing standard frequency of a radio frequency module of the GPS receiver, and receiving satellite signals of a satellite through signal frequency; secondly, acquiring complete ephemeris data by utilizing the received satellite signals, and calculating a coordinate of the GPS receiver; thirdly, calculating a first coordinate of the satellite at a first time point and a second coordinate of the satellite at a second time point by utilizing the acquired ephemeris data; fourthly, calculating the moving speed of the satellite and the projection amount of the moving speed on vectors from the first coordinate to the coordinate position by utilizing the first time point, the first coordinate, the second time point and the second coordinate; and finally, calculating the accurate intermediate frequency by utilizing the signal frequency, carrier frequency of the satellite, the calculated projection amount and light speed.
