Abstract

The invention provides an adaptive resampling-based radar signal compression method, which comprises the following steps: (1) segmenting radar signals, and reasonably determining the length of each segment of radar signals according to the requirements on a radar signal compression ratio and a processing speed; (2) performing spectrum analysis on each segment of radar signals, determining a resampling ratio of each segment of radar signals through analysis and determining the radar signal compression ratio; (3) resampling the radar signals according to new sampling frequency to compress the radar signals; and (4) reconstructing the radar signals as required, namely performing zero interpolation on the radar signals, recovering the compressed signals to the original length, and reconstructing the signals through filtration by a low pass filter of which the limiting frequency is half of the signal resampling frequency. In the method, signals in different time intervals are compressed respectively, the sampling frequency is reduced and a problem of overhigh sampling frequency when the radar signals are acquired is solved.
