Abstract

The invention discloses a method for updating multicast channel configuration information, which is used for realizing update of the multicast channel configuration information. The method comprises that: an MCE generates an MCH update request; the MCE sends MCH configuration information to be updated to an eNB by sending the MCH update request to the eNB; and the eNB updates the local MCH configuration information according to the MCH configuration information in the MCH update request.
