Problems solved by technology

However, for a system operating in a wide frequency band, it is difficult to achieve good amplitude consistency and phase consistency of the receiving channel in the entire working frequency band. Even if the requirements can be met, the cost is unacceptable
Manual calibration can no longer meet the requirements. In order to ensure the system has high angle measurement accuracy, the system needs to be able to calibrate the amplitude and phase of the receiving channel in the entire working frequency band. This is also the application of monopulse technology in broadband key technology

[0018] like figure 1 , figure 2 As shown, for the monopulse secondary radar with ∑ and △ dual channels, after the response signal is received by the antenna, it enters the antenna feeder transmission through the rotating joint, then enters the receiving channel of the monopulse processing device, and finally enters the receiver. These channel links that the response signal passes through will have an impact on the amplitude and phase of the...

Abstract

The invention discloses an implementing method for calibrating the amplitude and the phase of a system receiving channel by secondary radar in an amplitude monopulse system within a broadband. The implementing method consists of static calibration and dynamic calibration. The dynamic calibration which is implemented by a duplex magnitude-phase calibration source in a monopulse treatment device comprises a series of steps, and can realize automatic calibration of the amplitude and the phase of the system receiving channel by the secondary radar in the amplitude monopulse system within the broadband without consistencies of amplitude and phase strictly required by the receiving channel under the whole frequency band; and the system has less dependency on a test device, therefore, the cost can be controlled effectively, the complexity of the system is reduced, and the flexibility and the adaptability of the system are improved.

Description

technical field [0001] The invention relates to a realization method for calibrating the amplitude and phase of a system receiving channel in a wide frequency band by a secondary radar with an amplitude monopulse system. Background technique [0002] Monopulse processing refers to using the beam characteristics of the antenna to compare the amplitude or phase of the same response signal received by two or more channels, and obtain the angle difference between the response target and the antenna central axis after normalization processing, so as to obtain the target position. [0003] In the amplitude monopulse processing, the change of the amplitude and phase of the receiving channel has a direct impact on the accuracy of the angle measurement. For the conventional monopulse system, the working frequency band is narrow, and only the corresponding equipment (such as network divider, etc.) The channel can be calibrated manually once or several times to meet the working requir...
