The invention discloses a DC powered heating ventilation air-condition and refrigeration system. The system can be an air conditioner used for cooling environment air. The system can comprise a DC power receiver, which can convert electric power to supply it to the three-phase compressor in a HVAC / R system; also can comprise a variable frequency driven (VFD) power supply device in electric connection with the DC power receiver and configured to provide a three-phase electric power to a variable speed compressor motor; and also can provide a refrigerant flow-control valve capable of providing pulse operation and configured to control the refrigerant flow of one or more evaporators.
