Abstract

The invention provides a forward and reverse continuously variable transmission which consists of a continuously variable transmission and a reversing device. A sun gear (2) of a planetary mechanism is connected to a first shaft (1) and a planet carrier (6) is connected to a second shaft (7). An internal gear ring (5) is connected with a hydraulic motor (15) through an external gear ring (4) and a transmission gear (18). A hydraulic pipe (16) connected with the hydraulic motor (15) is provided with a hydraulic operating valve (17). The sun gear (13) of a planetary mechanism and the driving part of a clutch (8) are connected to the second shaft (7). The driven part of the clutch (8) and a drum brake of a reverse brake (9) are connected integrally with the planet carrier (10). An internal gear ring (11) is connected to a third shaft (14). The forward and reverse continuously variable transmission has the advantages of simple and compact structure, high transmission power, high effect, stable and reliable work, convenient control, mature technology, lower cost and wide range of application and is in particular suitable for mechanical transmission in complicated environments such as automobiles and the like.
