The invention also discloses a system for managing local internet protocol access connection. In the system, a judging unit is used for the mobility management entity to judge whether the local IP access-related information is changed and transmit the judged result to a management unit in the service request or the location updating request process; and the management unit is used for the mobility management entity to selectively execute the management of the corresponding connection resources according to the judged result.
