Abstract

The method is as follows: carrying out redundant processing on data to be transmitted at a sending end, dividing the data to be transmitted into an original data packet n and a redundant data packet k, marking sequence numbers for cseq field information in each data packet in an incremental manner, and then sending to a receiving end; after the receiving end receives the multimedia data packet, calculating a network packet loss ratio according to the cseq field information, and feeding back a calculated result to the sending end in a user datagram protocol (UDP) transmission manner; and calculating the number of redundant information packets sent in the next round by the sending end by utilizing a Reed-Solomon redundant codec according to the received packet loss ratio. In the invention, only the cseq field information of the redundant data packet is filled aiming at video data; and audio data and a redundant information packet are mixed according to the interwoven loss package recovery technology and then sent together aiming at the audio data.
