Abstract

The invention provides a screw special for a hard disk drive, which comprises a head and a screw tooth part, wherein the outer diameters of the screw tooth hills of the screw tooth part are the same; and the screw tooth part forms a cutting part. The manufacturing method of the screw special for the hard disk drive carries out the forging by utilizing a wire material obtained through supply and comprises the following concrete steps: A) the forming program of the head; forging the head of the wire material and cutting the head after being molded; and B) the molding program of the screw tooth part: forming the screw tooth part by utilizing fixed and flexible tooth plates at the main surface outside the screw body. The invention can increase the connecting strength force of the screw and a screw hole, thereby reducing the unqualified rate of the screw, enhancing the production efficiency and reducing the cost.
