Abstract

The invention aims to provide a hold-down mechanism of a fixed mould of a gird continuous casting machine of a lead-acid storage battery for adjusting distance between a movable mould and the fixed mould of the grid continuous casting machine. The hold-down mechanism comprises a screw rod and a screw rod sleeve which is located in a guide sleeve; the screw rod is threaded with the screw rod sleeve, and then supported in a bearing sleeve by a bearing; an internal cylinder capable of holding a pressure sensor and a spring is arranged at one end of the screw rod sleeve which is not matched with the screw rod; one end of the spring is connected with the pressure sensor while the other end thereof is connected with an ejector pin. The hold-down mechanism can both avoid overflow of liquid lead out of the cavity because of too large match gap of the moulds and prevent power loss of the continuous casting machine and abrasion of the surface of the mould because of increased friction force between the fixed mould and the movable mould due to too small match gap of the moulds during a work progress.
