The preparation method of the air freshener containing Zingiber corallinum Hance essential oil comprises the following steps of: uniformly mixing the above essential oils according to the above formula, successively adding ethanol and water, and uniformly mixing. The air freshener provided by the invention has functions of refreshing air, sterilizing, raising spirit, restoring consciousness, preventing carsick, repelling mosquito and the like, and can be used to comprehensively improve the air quality. The air freshener provided by the invention has an obvious sterilization effect and its killing rate for killing escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus reaches 95.0% through detection. The natural essential oils contained in the air freshener can stimulate spirits, raise spirit, restore consciousness, helps improve learning and working efficiency, can react with odor molecules to decompose and eliminate peculiar smell.
