Problems solved by technology

This is the cause of unnatural movements, and normal surgery cannot be performed in severe cases
[0011] In addition, the conventional surgical robot system has the limitation that the operator must operate the manipulator of the main robot while maintaining a high degree of concentration during the operation on the patient.
In this way, it brings serious fatigue to the operator, and the incomplete operation caused by the decrease of concentration may cause serious sequelae to the operation patient.

Abstract

A surgical robot system using augmented reality, and a method for controlling same are disclosed. A master interface for a surgical robot, which is mounted on a master robot for controlling a slave robot having robot arms, comprises: an image display unit which displays endoscopic images corresponding to the video signal provided by a surgical endoscope; one or more arm-operating units for controlling the respective robot arms; and an augmented reality implementation unit which generates virtual surgical tool information according to the user operation performed using the arm-operating units, so as to display virtual surgical tools via the image display unit. The master interface displays both actual surgical tools and virtual surgical tools together using augmented reality to enable a surgeon to smoothly perform a surgical operation.

Description

technical field [0001] The present invention relates to an operation, and more specifically, relates to a surgical robot system utilizing augmented reality technology or history information and a control method thereof. Background technique [0002] Surgical robots refer to robots that can replace surgeons to perform surgical operations. Such a surgical robot can perform more accurate and precise movements than humans, and has the advantage of being able to perform remote surgery. [0003] At present, surgical robots being developed in the world include orthopedic surgical robots, laparoscope surgical robots, and stereotaxic surgical robots. Here, the laparoscopic surgical robot is a robot that performs minimally invasive surgery using a laparoscope and small surgical instruments. [0004] Laparoscopic surgery is a cutting-edge surgical technique in which a hole of about 1 cm is made in the navel and a laparoscope, which is an endoscope for peeping into the abdominal cavit...
