The process comprises the following steps of: casting a concrete upright post or a steel structural upright post in situ according to a design height; fixing or casting a cantilever beam (5) from the top of the constructed upright post (4); constructing a longitudinal collar beam (6) at the tail end of the cantilever beam (5); and paving an arch-shaped corrugated steel roof (1) among longitudinal beams and fixing the arch-shaped corrugated steel roof (1) by using self-tapping anchors (11) and node steel (10), wherein the paved arch-shaped corrugated steel roof (1) is paved above or below the cantilever beam (5). By the roof installation process, not only the requirements on the appearance and functions of a building are met, but also the corrugated arch bearing capacity can be ensured by changing the length of the cantilever beam, so that the aim of increasing using span of a corrugated arch is fulfilled.
