Abstract

The electromagnetic brake comprises a coil base, a movable friction sheet, a brake sheet and a fixing sheet, wherein the electromagnetic coil is arranged in the coil base; the electromagnetic coil in a coil base accommodating groove comprises a spirally-wound silicon steel film loop; a plurality of insertion grooves are circularly formed on the periphery of the silicon steel film loop; an insulating groove base is sleeved in each insertion groove; and multiple turns of coil assemblies are wound between adjacent insulating groove bases by using enameled wires, and are annularly arranged on the silicon steel film loop, so that magnetic lines of force are generated on the silicon steel film loop.
