The invention provides a method for packaging a wire harness. By adopting the method, the hardness of an exposed part, corresponding to a main line, of a branch line and the hardness of other parts of the main line are consistent and wires of the main line on the exposed part are not easy to wear and break, thus ensuring the signalling and normal use of the wire harness. The method is characterized by comprising the following steps: sleeving an opening bellows on the whole main line part of the wire harness; then passing the branch line needing to be exposed through the opening of the opening bellows and exposing the exposed branch line out of the opening bellows; and then bonding the opening of the opening bellows by use of an insulation paste.
