Abstract

The invention discloses a routing function-based apparatus for mutual conversion of Modbus network equipment and building automation and control networks (BACnet) Ethernet network equipment and a conversion method thereof. The conversion apparatus comprises an ethernet network interface, a control unit, a serial interface and a working power supply. The working power supply is respectively connected with the network interface, the control unit, and the serial interface as well as is used for supplying power for the network interface, the control unit, and the serial interface. The control unit is used for carrying out parsing, route orientation and repackaging on a Modbus message and a BACnet Ethernet message. The network interface is connected with the control unit and is used for receiving message data sent by the control unit and forwarding the message data to the ethernet network. And the serial interface is connected to the control unit and is used for receiving message data sent by the control unit and forwarding the message data to a Modbus network. According to the invention, the apparatus can be used conveniently with low power consumption; Modbus equipment can be directly packaged into BACnet equipment; transparent management, operation and debugging on the Modbus equipment in the BACnet environment can be realized; and an application value of the system integration is also improved.
