The image reconstruction method disclosed by the invention is used for carrying out image reconstruction according to projection data obtained by an asymmetrical detector and comprises the following steps of: dividing the projection data into 5 regions, namely a region I, a region II, a region III, a region IV and a region V; respectively carrying out visual angle weighting on the projection data in the five regions; and reconstructing a sectional image of a shot object according to the weighted projection data. The image reconstruction device disclosed by the invention comprises a region dividing unit, a visual angle weighing unit and a reconstruction unit. The CT machine disclosed by the invention comprises the image reconstruction device disclosed by the invention. According to the technical scheme of the invention, the quality of the image which is constructed according to the projection data obtained by the asymmetrical detector is equal to that of the image which is reconstructed according to the projection data obtained by a symmetrical detector.
