The method comprises the following steps of: calibrating the running parameter of a vehicle, wherein a calibration value of the running parameter is obtained through a total vehicle match test; and judging the state of a clutch by using the virtual clutch switch in a traveling shifting process, enabling the virtual clutch switch, quickly reducing an engine torque to a lower limit torque value of a set gear under different gears, and entering transition torque control to preventing sudden reduction of a load caused by clutch separation from leading to quick rise of an engine rotating speed by quickly lowering the engine rotating speed, so that the vehicle shifting smoothness is improved. Due to the adoption of the virtual clutch switch and the method, cost can be reduced effectively, and the driving property, emission and oil consumption performance of the vehicle can be improved.
